The research was aimed to describe the application of group discussion method in science learning to improve the fourth grade students\u27 achievement of SDN 09 Gonis Tekam Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir Kabupaten Sekadau.The research method used was descriptive method with the research design of classroom action research (CAR). The result of the research in the first cycle and the second cycle showed the improvement of students\u27 achievement. This was proved from the fourth students\u27 achievement in science learning which the mean score of the final test in the first cycle was 79,35 and improved on the second cycle became 84,51, with the learning completeness of 74% on the first cycle and 90% on the second cycle.
